Looking at life through a microscope Searching for quarks, seeking rogue genes, That place blue among normal pink flowers. * I sink under waves of mundane, drown Beneath everyday seas; So to observe what's above surfaces, Raise up scanning periscopes To focus on odd formed things. * Words of the vulgate, deer with white blotches Poets with causes, the sky before dawn. Tree rings telling of wet or dry summers, Snow from cloudless skies falling- winter thunder, and the beauty of women, Their different shapes and colors; What does it mean when they smile Mona Lisa? Are just a few shapes of things (Different than common) That keep me from going insane. |

Ford, I really liked this one. Not only was it captivating but I found much truth in it for myself (except for the women part, that is...lol). Mona Lisa's smile....I would guess that it's meant to be mysterious intentionally....have heard that it is mystery that captures the mind (and heart) of a man. ....jo |

smiling at this uncommonly beautiful awareness you have of things that are different and appreciating them for being unique |
