When candles burn in steady pace, balanced on Midwinter’s night, the evening turns within itself, churning, chasing heady curls of promises laced in clouds and woven through the incense smoke, as if enthralled by captives entangled in bindings of a private joke spun and lost in history, as if the drift of time itself could be contained within their pace, as mystery polished by the patient, the pretenders in belief. ©2005 by icebox |

It's the simple things that are best, Occam's Razor plays out with fractal intensity....the more we complicate, the greater the chance we're dead wrong. The book's still open on this that you write of, but there's history and some of it goes back ten thousand years, for those with the patience (or something like patience) to delve that deeply. |
