In weightless form of innocence I walked one day the shades of blue and placed my footsteps down in the inner depths of you. And there upon that distant shore where all is known but can’t be seen I touched the weave of passion in soul’s tapestry of need. In smooth entwinement you and I belied facades so long in place and I stroked with fingers delicate the chiseled features of your face. Now grounded and restrained on land I dance these words of memory, my journal and remembrance list to the universe set free. The sky is blue, so blue, so blue, when I remember loving you! |
