Look around you now Did you see me? I may be put away or pushed behind something I may be in the center of a display or hanging on a wall. I may be a pair of two or only one but can you remember me? I may have been held by your grandmother or kept as a surprise to be given. I may a little broken by now or have been kept very clean But do you remember me? I have a story to tell to pass down from generation to generation don't forget me. I am something that was given to you by someone who cares. Someone that thought I should belong to you to share. I hope I don't end here I hope I become an heirloom. For all the little things that are passed down don't forget their story and past to be shared With the ones you love. help keep them from the end and make them what they want to become, an heirloom. for the stories of an heirloom only become better with time. |
