Love and Chivalry - A forgotten lore? Buried somewhere deep in cobwebbed nooks Of an ancient, crumbling castle keep; Love and Chivalry -- forgotten lore of books -- Lie dying in the wake of crimson sleep. The Knights who once rode proudly to their deeds Now rest beneath the broken, sinking stones; The grey, cold marble overgrown with weeds No one tends; no tears are shed for buried bones. The dragons? Ah, they did not meet their death -- They only moved inside the castle walls -- And from within their poisoned, toxic breath Melds false words with ashes of loves' calls. The castle is the ailing heart within, Whose gates been stormed by avarice and lust; Into the fallen heart there steals a sin -- Love, Chivalry are tossed into the dust. Then who shall seize the rusty sword and mail? Who shall treasure the precious love he finds? Who shall rise to lover's call and shall not fail -- As love with gossamer hands two souls it binds... And onto the field, at a morning light He who seeks shall lay his beating heart; There Love and Chivalry will regain fight And Courage will lead forth a renewed start. CG |

And onto the field, at a morning light He who seeks shall lay his beating heart; There Love and Chivalry will regain fight And Courage will lead forth a renewed start.
