Let There Be Nightfall’s

When the heart thirsts,
hesitancy is not abstinence’s choice,
which seasons this chalice.

Like delicate crystal,
effulgent light dances o'er salted skin.
For a sip,
I’d not crush wine to lips as it would sluggish the way,
and effort love's indiscreet streamlet,
to my secreted soul.

Nay I’d suffer the ardent kiss that you’d slope into me,
and slip into locks as warm and submissive as a spring breeze,
for I’d serenade the impetuous metaphor that is longing,
in whom appetite is immodest,
and pull from the quenchless essence of twilight’s wealth,
fervent groans.

That would be mine utopia.

Let there be nightfall’s,
when there’s naught but you and I,
wedded to throes of burning,
that have been pinned beneath libidinous skin.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!
