Inquisitive Eyes Through frosty mists of winter sleep In hands of time my heart to keep On tiptoe glance fond ever last Beyond the future to the past Avail by veil in gloved regress A glimpse aloft and well impressed In tempo slowed and pale consort A close behold and wild retort Dessert of mind dispensed and smiled Beneath the dove flown high and mild The mountains skin shed white and thin Below to coat and wandered wind And land of visions seek the sun To find cohesive set and done Beneath the mask of common ground Peruse the places soft and round Auspicious sights to call by name And look in overcast to rain On frosty mists of winter sleep The hands of time my heart to keep Copyright Kkh 01/29/05 |

I was waiting for this post TD. I seen you wandering around the forum and knew it was only a matter of time before you gifted me with a poem this morning. Loved it! This is a true delight for mine eyes this day. Hugs! |

No jagged edges found here. Your poem is smoooooth as silk and so so soothing to the mind and spirit. Enjoyed reading. -Bob |

Oh leave of me thy waking dreams that I might smile in wandering. Oh flow with me the earthen streams that I might dwell in pondering. Oh leave me not thy slumber's quest or bask alone the wand'ring moon. For here thee lie in morn of rest.. in wait the cry of lonesome loon. |

This lovely octameter was a pleasant sleigh ride this morning. Poets against the war is redundant |
