This shell, opaque encompasses my fragility while holding in fragments of what is left of me I feel suns amber rays trying to warm the edges of this chill of sigh, and I can hear the rush of life swirling by. With fists clenched I hammer away trying to break free... my screams fall silent, passers by cannot hear my cry of plea. This shell now hardened will not easily break but still; I scratch and claw trying to create a fissure that would allow my soul escape from this cocoon of emotions that have wrapped themselves to tightly around me suffocating the fantast of who I used to be.... The greatest beauty on earth, is found in the hearts of those who love.... [This message has been edited by Gentle Spirit (01-28-2005 11:09 AM).] |

Well whatever you do don't allow a hard boil to occur. Maybe a gifted cook will scramble along and poach you on a pedestal or better still two over easy (and not be an egg benedict-arnold) Amazing how durable that shell can be considering. As always enjoyed your sharing (and you know this was me just yoking) Poets against the war is redundant |

Good God, Donna, this reminded me of Pink Floyd's, "The Wall." Amazing writing, Lady and I love your picture, you look so cute all warm and stuff. *smile* |

Marge, you are a doll. Thank you. *s* Catrina, *lil curtsie* and a big thank you! Dixie and JL, thank you both for the awesome. Yer both pretty awesome yourselves. *w* awwww...Lee, you make me blush thank you for that.... Richard two over easy minus the pedestal and the benedict-arnold sounds lovely. I would like to think someday a gourmet might put something on my plate that I just wouldn't be able to turn down...but then, I guess we all wish for that at different times in our lifetimes..lol. As far as hard boiling, perhaps just a bit poached?? lol. Thank you for your humor and for the smile. Susan, your words touch me and I am glad that mine make sense to you! Suz, you have no idea of how much of a compliment I take that as. As to the new pic, was just having fun one day with the cam phone. lol. It was COLD outside that day! Hugzz you. The greatest beauty on earth, is found in the hearts of those who love.... |
