I slipped and fell beyond the moment,
Just where was i now?
Did it realy matter?
Into the void of uncertain light.

Through the other side,
my journey began. On an odyssey to
my inner self, i saw things vividly.
Traits passed like roadsigns.

Signs spelled out my future,
while storms off in the distance,
forewarned of impending trauma.
Coming back i was suddenly empty, ravenous.

Rising, my relish for life renewed,
a sudden boldness and realisation,
that life could indeed be sweet,
was already beating in my heart, coursing through my veins.

I will always be here to hold your hand, so I can catch you when you fall~

Right before your eyes....it was there before you all the time...beating inside your heart!

Great poetry as usual!
