The seeds of my country I live with a dream I cannot live without I live with my home No answer for get out I travel abroad And live alone again The only difference that I know Is hypocrisy has gone I feel a pressure after time And willingly come home But never do I say I never more will roam In a year I've had enough Of stupid working days Where the time and not the effort Are the way the force gets laid So the car gets petrol Unprepared I go And the seeds of my country In another country blow |

Dave, I love the spirit of freedom in this one, so dynamically expressed. You can never detach from your roots, they accompany us wherever we go and we surely leave something wherever we stop. Love, Margherita ![]() |

froggy I like this one. :-) Within this heart you'll find love Thanks Froggy. One of the classics of police detection is that they know the smell of fish and chips will usually bring an English Criminal home. No high tech - just open up a bad fish and chip shop, where they live. Dave MGROVES interesting A lot of this stuff was but it doesn't appeal to many. Maybe as others feel they can harden their attitudes so we all retreat into Ghenhis Khan the barbarian. Dave Margherita Dave, I love the spirit of freedom in this one, so dynamically expressed. You can never detach from your roots, they accompany us wherever we go and we surely leave something wherever we stop. Love, Margherita You said it better than I could Margherita. Dave JL A gypsy’s tale, to meander through life. Enjoyed the read DavePage. JL My comments on another poem answer your unspoken question. Thanks Dave HopeS I left 35 years ago ....You can take the girl out of England , but never take England out of the girl .... Hope But you took the talent Hope. Can we have that back, please. Dave Ericc Powerfuly expressed Dave. Eric Thanks Eric It appears I never learnt how to be nice when people yet again pay for lying politicians. Dave |
