Two ice palaces built
For we only need two
Take a side if you can
Be you rosey or blue

It's the party of parties
Get up out of that drift
Taking stock of the heartiest
Give your spirits a lift

Though the winter is on
And the snow blows in gale
In your warm mittens don
Let your heart high and hale

And be sure that you know
As I make with suppose
If I catch you off guard in a scud snowball low
I'm quite good at this game, primed and postured just so

What a light heart just knows from the tassle to boot
Yeah I know it is winter, and I don't give a hoot!
Be it holiday blues, or the grayer of hues
That I throw down the glove and just call all of you's

Make it fun if you dare
Giggle loud, I don't care
I just can't pass the moment without being aware

If I wing you, it's love
If I miss you, don't fuss
I'll be back on the flip side, or in stealth as I does
With a bucket of snow...and a cheerful hello
Yeah that's right, it's a dare...double dog you out there

Put some white on the blue, with a snowball or two
And just think with a wink, who knows what this may brew?

At least the violence is contained and local.

You dont spread it to your neighbours and cause it to be spread from them, nor attack those that can not harm you to the degree of thousands of people who die as the earth reacts.

Very nicely put words.

Tis the ice that will foretell
the winner at the last rung bell.
For he has the ball that shall be
down the back, this you'll soon see.

The rocket raised soon will shoot
that ball of dribbling cold on your snoot.
You'll hit the ground, a resounding thud,
here comes Gridley's accurate scud...

SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

So softly she snickers, round the drifts to her knickers
Dave was there in deep thought, unaware what she brought...
From the silence came poured, the fine packed in award...and good fun to be had
Though our Dave might get mad...
Only temperal time, then his eyes found the sign...
At your own risk you come, to my castle to dine...Just the queen of the snow, not an enemy no...but a good hearted, albeit nearsighted pro

Thanks for the comments Dave...
THWACK!

I'd throw if I could but I'm all shoveled out
those darn plows pushed it back as if I had doubt
I dared them this time standing still for the third
If they do it again it's my screaming to be heard

For 3 hours I lifted enjoying at first
but the last plowed in push took away the fun's thirst
So here's one, a soft ball to you and your rhymes
As I rest my worn shovel, until needed next time...

The snow queen took grin
From the plight of our M
Understanding she nodded
And then giggled again

Though I know you deserve
A massage given verve
Just fair play must obey
And in glee did she serve

And a dusting came down
On eyelashes and crown
Then to shovel the last of a passing plows frown
Helping hand given lend, and hot chocolate for M

Now rest up by the fire, come and join us again

Hugs,
TD

With my hair all white frozen
could break off with ease
I undress wet these clothings
into warmth to lose freeze

I shall drink my hot chocolate
and step into the tub,
old fashioned and footed
a deep heat body rub

So for now I shall leave you
these muscles in need
The vanilla is waiting
my "physical feed"

And the smile grew bigger
With her mind spinning fast
Just a chance taking shape
To get Magnus at last

So as M, took her leave
In the grace she wears well
Diamond threw that scud snowball
And then ran fast as spell

And Ms M turned around
From the depths rose a wave
Though she rarely throws curses
This time none were dismayed

Just our Mag standing there
Poised with snowball aloft
And TD stood up swiftly
Pointing there she cried soft

And in shock dropped the snowball
As our M wound up tight
And she pegged that poor man
Almost put out his light

TD giggled and wiggled her way round the bend
Only fairly to find but her fair weathered friend
He was white from the sight to toes of his boot
And dumped the snow down, in her scarf and her suit

She deserved it you know, for this game she cooked up
And I'm telling you so, that's the way to keep up

And then M came around just to serve up a point
And the hill they rolled down caused a laugh round the joint...

Come on out said the queen
There's still snow to be seen
And I'm not finished yet
Serving snowball cuisine

Heehee Magnus.

A girl is a girl and a guy is the man
and throwing is for boys who really can.
The SnowQueen faltered in her step and verve
as the Mag rebounded and served a curve.

The ball rounded the first tree of the yard,
like a boomerang thrown fast and so very hard.
It sound could be heard for blocks away
as the collision with her tush caused such
great "HEY!"..........

Now she rests with bruises on her flank so wet.
The fireplace was burning,  this I would bet.
He sighted the Monty of the aft in view
and fell off his pedestal into his stew!!!!

Oh really, she waited...a twinkling eye
Just what was the matter with this here guy?
Her wit was keen, she dug a cave
In the flurry of snow made by this deft knave

And beneath she tucked safely
Just waiting it out
As the snow cleared come lately
With his hat cocked in pout

What had happened he pondered
With a mere gruff of chin
From depths up she wandered
And pushed him right in

Now the last laugh was had
Though its far from the end
He should know that a snowqueen
In her honor defend

And the ice palace glimmered
And the laugher roared on
Though that Magnus still simmered
Thinking what had gone wrong

A doo dah doo dah day!

A hole he saw at the top of the hole,
sitting there warm as fair furry mole.
He could hear her laughing, taunting him.
Oh lordy, could the snowqueen icily swim?

He busted out in his bulletproof Vee,
roaring toward the house, tweedle dee dee.
She screamed with fright as the snow fell down
deep above her now,  this icicly crown.

He laughed and roared,  grinned and howled
for she was beneath all that the Vee had plowed.
Her arms were pinned,  her feet shed of shoes,
sitting there singing,  the snow ball blues.

Now the Snow Queen partook
Just the bait on her hook
And the air became breezy,
A bit cheesy her grin crooked

Just a plan of attack
To cut short his brisk flack
Wishing Sunshine would show up
And pay him right back

Maybe Nancy perhaps
Give these red cheeks their chaps
But without them she knew
That regardless relapse

And the Snow Queen got free
Climbing out hand and knee
Standing tall on the top
Of the palace with glee

And she bowled a strike straight
Took that man two steps late
He was laughing too hard
To give any rebate

PSSST...SUNSHINE....HELP!!!

The shower was hot, filled with steam
as he washed off all that coffee and cream.
He muttered and swore she would soon lose
cause her number was the one he did choose.

And after he dried the one last hair on top
he ran out the door,  into snow and dirty slop.

A ball he made with care and precision
One that would take her out in unanimous decision.
The count would be eight in the first round
and all she would hear was a sharp thudding sound.

The ball flew through the door left open wide,
cause the silly dame's mind could not decide
if the weather was right for an open door shot
or to just sit there grinning, awaiting his plot.

The sound rebounded off the wall and ceiling
leaving her ears singing and reeling.
A thwack was all that she could recall
as twixt her eyes there was a icy white ball.

Game, Set and match....again

OK...we are taking all the attention...not to mention...I just took your mitten.
And your hat...

And one boot lace...

I think we need reinforcements...
laughing so hard, I know I do.

you two enjoy
your snowgames

snow strikes
the windowsill
pretty from
the distance
peeking my head
out at  you two,
running in again
for cover.......
oops......don't shoot
