Loud and yet louder

Rocks and the sea come shouting

Still, a lone gull's cry

That it hurts to fly in the ripping wind that tears at every feather....while the waves bring food and then snatch it away before even a gull can dive to reach it....

This reminds me of the gulls I watched over Scudic point (Maine) many years ago....how they tilted their wings to change direction or elevation above the rocky shore..I can still hear their faint crys above the breakers...

That picture came back as I read this, thanks for the memory...

You are such a deep observer.

A gull's prayer is deeply touching.

You did it again!  Why should I seem surprised?  I'm not!   You always manage to see things from a unique perspective and write of it perfectly!

What miscellanea said... yes! *S*

I've heard a gull's plaintive cry... that sound acquires poignancy as I read these words...

Many see scavenger... you see survivor... and show us a miracle.
