Booze

Did you know that booze
Was named after somebody named Booze?
Yes, it's true.
Booze was in Germany,
Or from Germany, or something.
It use to be that,
Once upon a time
there was no booze.
When Booze came along
There was no booze.
Booze just couldn't get booze
because booze didn't exist.
It must have been so hard for him,
No booze even for Booze.
Like it must have been for Luther,
Who couldn't find
a Lutheran church to go to
When he was little;
Like John couldn't find
A Baptist church to go to
When he was growing up,
Because they didn't have any, back then.
Okay, ... so anyway ...
So Booze couldn't get booze.
So Booze invented a cool, new thing;
And since no one had a name for it,
The people decided to call it booze.
And so it has come to pass that,
Because of Booze
We now have booze.
And if it hadn't been for Booze,
We would have no booze.

Did you know that computers
Were named after somebody named ... ... ... ...

So Boozey bye bye.
