Local weather forecast...North Central Pa.
Today     AM Snow Showers   17°F  -2°F
Jan 22    Mostly Sunny  10°F  -2°F
Jan 23    Snow  12°F  7°F
Jan 24    Snow Showers / Wind  11°F  2°F
..........................................

Numen of winter,
Janus, opens up the gate;
Lets in flocks of cold

Releasing from heaven, weight
Of frozen air...herds of snow.

South Central, PA
8-14 inches...maybe

"The Grocery Run"

Milk, Bread and Tissues
The roles that snow forecasts play
Scare tactics abound

Maybe a foot, maybe not
Habits crowd the days ahead

M...expecting a big one tomorrow through Sunday..it's fun to watch people act like they will run out of those items within two days just because it will snow.

Fog inhibits sight
Gray mass ghosting trees and lanes
Lost souls still searching

Rivers calling spirits keep
Tangled emotions so stark

passing shadows

N-thoughts
LOL, just got back from the supermarket...

People scrambling
Hoarding food like the squirrels
On my deer corn pile

Stuffing things in car trunk mouths
Running home like the rodents.

Thanks for reading and the fun reply..

I can only guess that you like it because you are a student of myth also? Or perhaps you have the same forecast..

Thank you....

Sun out, odd today
Not many does winter give us
I am not impressed

The river tells in grindings
Of white fog coming, it speaks

Thanks for the beautiful reply..

"glad I'm in Florida"
What za matter you?
You don't like my forecast....lol

If I was in Florida I would be fishing for specks..

Thanks for reading...

Come read to me some poem,
Some simple and heartfelt lay,
That shall soothe this restless feeling
And banish the thoughts of day.

The temp for the tri cities where I live
tonight is -2 below with snow tapering off by morning. The Wind is still howling yet.
2 more months till Spring. :-)

This is also a very good piece.

:-)

Within this heart you'll find love
