In the past few weeks, I suppose, all of us have been impacted by the scenes. Perhaps to numbness....

Tsunami

Through cataracted eyes swollen
Leaking unbelief in buckets filled
Of sea foam kissed red cells
Matrimonially alluring... violent
Wave borne fists pounding
Clamshell to beach powder white
Death gulls gluttoned
Under a carrion sun circling
Shipwrecked lunar mourning at
Bedded horizon praying; this
blinking stepchild’s telling of
handcuffed innocence dying at birth.

Robert

Matrimonially alluring... violent

~*~

That you caught the onslaught of it
so well
tells me that you've always been
a watcher of life.

sometimes, there's not much to cheer about.

i admire the way this was written, Robert.
there are words in here in places that i
just wouldn't have thought to use and i like
that a lot.

"so I wait for you like a lonely house
till you will see me again and live in me.
Till then my windows ache"

Snow, Susan, iliana, PS and sunshine I thank all of you for taking time to read and comment on this quite inadequate piece.
