Sitting here watching the rain falling down
thinking of good times, but still missing the sounds.
The sound of your voice as you walked in the door,
the sound of your laughter, and so much more.

The gift that you gave was such a treasure,
your loving heart I will always remember.
Through the darkness of a still, silent night
your star keeps on shining so bright.

In the future, in some far away place,
once again we shall stand face to face.
Then together again will be you and I
on that special day when we meet in the sky.
