I have not prayed

over willing papyrus soul?

am I not enlivened with
every utterance of eloquence?

supple, pliable softness
becoming
volcanic ripples of smoldering
heat named
is there sun or moon?
how can I know, when blind I've
become to all but you?

If wishes be granted
I would love you eternally
If dreams truly came true
would these words cry into
the emptiness of avoid?

I found you and
discovered keys to
unlocking me
an infinity of doors
imprisoned behind for
none moved me like you

oh, how you held me

for one fleeting moment
in time's secretive journey,
you loved me

so I prayed for you,
with beseeching, hoped
what you truly desire
lies nestled sweetly
in the palms of your
strong, manly hands

true happiness

for you,
the one you love,

and me...
