Unable To Write The End

I had written of our love
So much in the past
Only recently realising
Good things never last

Yet sounds of my heart
Echoed the yearning
Nothing could replace
Your love not returning

Silence is hard to bare
It only left me in doubt
Where did the love go
After all I had given out

Each heart written letter
Undying love penned
Here I was still clinging
Unable to write the end

Good things do last...in the heart and mind

very heart touching piece! We all have felt the same sentiments, but in time the ending we do write.........

yes excellant way to learn and accept what love has given and to remain at peace with that instead of the torment of love gone. been there done that thanks for sharing
