I know you,
always have
Our souls met in the long ago
Before time and space
Before we turned to flesh
In a place where colors do not fade
And now, all that separates us
is nothing; a thin veil
to be lifted, like a beautiful mystery
at the time of our sweet reunion

Oh, when you come back to visit...
you do so with trembling tenderness...

Excellent, Robert...simply wonderful!

Good write.  In fact, I know what you mean, except my veil is made of corduroy.
