And suddenly
a sadness
stood beside me

Unseen
unheard
and yet I knew
her there

Together we gazed
at nothing
No words
were spoken

I did not move
No birds sang

And sadly sadness
turned away

Sometimes it's hard to let go of her. Well done, John.
