Finding illusion most seductive Truths elusive Like a once in a lifetime blind date Peeling back veneer in the dark I take morning air in quiet Like a banker’s romantic encounter Interrupted by chance Sculpting ideas of fate In parallel universes You know, back then When everyone else wore pastels I wore plaid…proudly…as a child Still do… Doesn’t seem to matter They stuffed Kleenex in their bras I wore T-shirts…still do…hehe, proudly My tour de France loved me Like a blind writer With inquisitive mind Taking me everywhere Splashes of conceptual impact With a tad of danger...yes That being…the creative gift Life’s valentine Low key natural sounds Being "the now", better part of life And what about the image? Well, reading over the book of Mark Gives new meaning to the word…intimacy Spending time in the park Feeding migrating sea gulls Look! I’m the blind man on the bench Great to have voices in my head My face loosing years Longing and yes, some regret Sometimes revealing worthless junk Like a Tower of Babel But hey.... Browsing a little less serious Letting go of moments sometimes Makes all the difference granting freedom... Memorizing my money maker And up for the challenge Dreaming Pablo Neruda songs Living to talk about it… Funding, will no doubt cover the cost Nature’s technology makes it real Going beyond Timeline of events, games infinity And still know nothing, really But, the gentlest of all times Sees tigers seated before a fireplace Imagine…somber images looking in the mirror? Shims of time, lend a twenty centavo piece Cuz poetry always remembers I’m not lost in a modern world The modern world just lost me... Have you ever sought that one word Which created the universe? Reality may avoid obligation But the looks are in chronological order I’m somewhere on a numberless shelf Falsely cataloged Leaning to associate the image Accessing and searching Open to suggestions Archived, way past any editing From worldly newsletters See, there’s this Gnostic library Floating around in my mind Intellect can be human kind’s endless quest But love impression...even if for one tiny moment Can be one hell-of-an expression Leading to extravagant happiness For the rest of Life... If one so chooses? I wonder sometimes, how easy it would be not to think? That’s the way it was once, with you... And will be someday again...you'll see... My translucent network always opens a book of surprise...like you used to...
