~*~
Of all the treasures of this world
Of the diamonds, riches, or pure gold
A few of them outshines all others
Their brilliance never to grow old

Of one of these gems in life
If we are blessed to find
Is the treasure of true friendship
Of someone who is caring and kind

Sometimes this is unexpected
This bonding of hearts between two
Stong as a sister or brother
Is the closeness felt of the few

Yes, of all the treasures of this world
Of the diamonds, riches, or pure gold
A few of them outshines all others
Their brilliance never to grow old

Dear Ethel, this is a very beautiful statement and so true!

The card with your poem is a lovely proof of your talent and it is in shades of gold, matching your words very harmoniously.

Love and hugs.
