Its not so much the falling down
thats gets to me, its the pain
of getting up, the slow ache
that I feel when Im trying to stand.
Standing is such an odd thing,
we're never quite sure how
to hold ourselves, just where
to put those silly arms of ours?
So many of us want to stand for
something, but we have'nt
really thought it all out,
we know we just want to stand, for something.
Its the common process that tricks
us into thinking that if we stand
there, then we are standing
for that which others around us are standing for.
But we just are never sure of what
the others are standing for,
just that we want to stand with
them and be part of the group.
Kind of funny when you think on it,
for if we really cared about an issue,
if we were really passionate about
it, then what would we do?
Not stand, but talk, and work
and really work at being better
than our whole, for as individuals
we are nothing but as one were are all.

yes, been there, but cha know....I think when we don't try so hard to be someone or something we're not...ourselves jumps for joy all over the place, not caring in the least what others think..and sings...love me or loose me?  Yes?

Wonderful introspect

Understand the lesson though I've no problem standing alone. It's all about dignity.....for each and all. Enjoyed
