‘Tis Stirring This Pressing of Flesh to Flesh

‘Tis stirring this pressing of flesh to flesh,
A polished, yea elegant comeliness,
Sweet rhythmic timbre and fervor enmesh—
—In pirouettes of enchanting finesse.

Let not the cadence of a minuet,
Trouble mine-ears, and confuse chaste joyance,
With thee cherished heart the world I’d forget,
As we revolve together, locked in dance.

O' the waltzes of Strauss beckon dearest,
Their lilting strains draw ever at my heart,
A sensuality that knows not rest—
—A timelessness that doth flow from fine art.

Vienna thy strain is one of yearning—
—Inglorious rapture. Two hearts burning.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

and I've just deemed this, a mother's

Waltzing to Strauss - dancing in the moonlight to Bethoven, taking a minute to minuet with Schubert - the intense passion of Wagner - the emotion of Tchikowsky - yes, EV2- the pressing of flesh - the feel of great composition -

Enjoyed this greatly -

thy words have burned, encrested a brand of romance upon these pages of blue.
