I Gift You These Words

She walks on the billow of loveliness,
Where hope and veracity coalesce,
How sweetly the wind caresses her cheek,
A kiss that sultry would leaveth me weak.

I yearn to hold her in a warm embrace,
To touch the porcelain skin of her face,
Yea my heart longs to beat in time with hers,
Likewise, I should confess, the mind concurs.

If dreams are desire then let me dream,
For they’re candy-coated peaches and cream,
‘Tis not ice castles I’m building from naught,
‘Tis a nursery of flowering thought.

I gift you these words may they gladden eye,
Speaking for the heart that’s terribly shy.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!
