I hear Death’s gentle promise, whispers threaded by the Winter’s winds through the tattered rustle of Autumn’s aging leaves, browning merit badges of last season’s sylphic promises of glory, dervish whirling swirling devils spiral dancing to collapse, within the fog of specie’s memories behind the veils of intellect, just barely sharing pause for thought. ©2005 by icebox |

Icebox - i can see the leaves falling, swirling - love the description of whirling dervishes - and to think, the cycle shall soon begin again - here the world is hushed in snow and the temperature is to drop to below zero soon - brrrrrrrrr - am ready for the peak of butter cups and crocus - Susan If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . . |

"dervish whirling swirling devils spiral dancing to collapse, within the fog of specie’s memories behind the veils of intellect, just barely sharing pause for thought" It does truly feel like this right now. ....jo |

icebox "I hear Death’s gentle promise, whispers threaded by the Winter’s winds through the tattered rustle of Autumn’s aging leaves," Pictureing a treelined road, and a last leaf crunching walk. I'm not sure though how often death is gentle...perhaps in the final moment, yes, I hope so. I also hope you are ok. |

And reams to write before we sleep eh ol' timer? You deserve at least a wink from endless time for this one and more and more death looks like peace to me. |
