when the rains came I prayed to the padre for umbrellas and coffee he referred me to the mary with hollow eyes and the habit much worse than mine but I knelt anyway and left gifts at her feet she said green was her favorite color next to gray and stone was her favorite lover and she was just a statue on someone else's grave ______________ Dark |
