You look better in matte,
minus the glossy finish
you so often present
to a sycophantic audience.

I favor you this way,
for even when you are out-of-focus,
your slightly fuzzy edges
appeal to my eyes and heart,
which never cared for false art,
the glitz and pomp, the social stance
of fame that makes so many dance
a discordant out-of-synch beat.

And here you are,
flush from the heat of passion
naked
truth spilling from your eyes
sans disguise or subterfuge.

Is it any wonder I prefer you
in matte?

i prefer a bit of a blend most times,to keep my interest and awe,
but i can see your matte perspective here too; it seems to make sense when sense is needed
