she lay upon her bed
hued in
silver gray steel
reflecting
the eyes of her lover
as they gaze
upon her
from above

she models for him
and
he admires
her voluptuous curves
cradled gently
in billows
of
virgin white

languidly
she stretches
posing pretty
her
shimmer song ripples
and the
subtle flow of long
for his adoring eyes

she is
the river
and
he
the sky

thank you ladies - I was stunned by the beauty of the river as I drove this morning, she was steel gray- reflecting the sky, banked in fresh fallen snow - she moved me to poetry -

lovely, Susan~~ send some of that snow this way...another week of above normal temperatures in this section of the mideast
(though I am not complaining since I am still waiting for a heat source to be repaired.) But I do love snow~~~
