As with Alli,I have also been posting at Teen Poetry and I thought I'd post some of my poems here starting with my brand new one. Enjoy and I look forward to your comments!!

They say there’s that special person for everyone
But what isn’t said is that to them you may not be that one
You feel that they are what are meant by the phrase love at first sight
But again that person doesn’t realize it and you don’t put up much of a fight

Day by day you hear why they aren’t together
And why that he can see that and she is blinded from the start
They know the feelings that you display
And know they can’t be hidden and never completely go away

I look at you and see your beautiful eyes
And inside it’s my heart slowly beginning to cry
A heart that aches and yearns for her love
A love that she can only give, because she’s an angel sent to me from above

I guess then not everyone is meant to be
For if that was true we would be together
You will find out that true love is never a guarantee
Because if it was, I would be holding onto you in these loving arms forever
