Hush commands sooth excited spirits those prone to vent frustrations how many times we are told to hush keep thoughts to ourselves in trust Sooth spirits wrangled in the tumbler what would be spirited ends I wonder hush forgotten babe to sleep stillness applied to night's weep hush over land are signs of peace peace with war is ordered please how often one is told to simmer down turn a frown the other way around. Air raid sirens break a hush as do dog teams ordered to mush words of truth dribble from mouth corners unsilenced are pranks of little jack horner [This message has been edited by ecrivan (01-05-2005 01:37 AM).] |

One could think it would all be that easy...to just give a mother's hush, with upraised eyebrow... Oh yes, this...is very good... |

I thought little jack horner could be added to the poem since his theft of a manor deed was also kept secret or 'hushed' for centuries for most of us.... |
