Upon the frozen floor a prima ballerina stretches, in slippers crystal lace, her trim of crimson unravelling, dances off on journeys past, as the coming of the solstice brings the number's interchange, on toes they tip beneath, the winter's icey stage, and rehearse for spring's recital, come one late march matinee |
