I dance a soul trance to welcome the new year.
Though Taj Mahal still shines brightly on clear nights,

I bow and dance to nature's majestic sights,

'neath a rainbow of brilliant northern lights.
And in dreams I sometimes dance
under fragrant cherry blossoms,
Mt. Fuji smiling at me as I bow
to the wisdom of the ancients,
bending knees in OM moment.

I dance 'neath solemn Jerusalem skies
underneath a quivering olive branch,
and pray to my version of God above,
please, give us another chance to dance
in honor of Peace, Love, Harmony,
to hold gently another's heartbeat
and tenderly embrace the meaning of Dove.
For your child is my child,
their dreams not so different,
to grow and perhaps dance someday
'neath cherry blossoms or olive trees,
or a rainbow of fantastic lights.

In the Gita it says....

"The Lord dwells in the heart of all beings..."
(XVIII. 61)

This makes the greeting of great importance to the sayer and the receiver...

Many Quakers have picked up this thought and use it as a basis of their religion (bad descriptive word, but I'll use it for clarity)

You have demonstrated good use of the word here, Kacy, in love(ing)ly poetic phrases...

I didn't know that about the Quakers. Interesting. As for pronunciation? Guess it depends on the part of the world or country, as I've heard it naw-maw-stay, emphasis on maw
