wind is a bitch in her hammering
she breaks at my windows and
smacks me in the mouth

colourless whore
spreads her garments in all directions
dragging the sea with her sudden tongue
with fingers that strike like a bell

pushing gulls into a hell
a front row view of shells that open
to the sea

she

belts her woes against my walls
fingers me with shifting claws

and

makes me what is hers

into this night i wonder, it's morning that i dread, another day of knowing of, the path i fear to tread.

What an impressive description of the wind!

Shivering!

Your words are matter .... and unsteadiness is the result.

Love and hugs.

Damned if I don't like this enough to save it.

It's the sort of silence that's filled with wordless wonder that this piece embodies.
A dark, cleansing feeling.

If I were to touch you, would you bleed a velvet river, running miracles through the sodden ground? --Moi

Maree

I love the wind, for many of these same reasons!     I miss you!
