Inward Thoughts

He sits with inward thoughts these days
The look that makes his heart to fly
Looking for the polonaise
Among the hues that fill the sky

Just enough to fill his palette
Enough to stroke his mind with peace
To vote again his daily ballot
This wonder of the masterpiece

Each day it turns another page
Upon the stage where time goes bye
It turns the sky to sun or rage
To mark the age where you will lie

Each one is different in degree
It weaves a place for you to store
It is a lace of filigree
Until you reach the final door

And there you’ll find the answer to
The paradox of earthly view

Polonaise...three-quarter time, honored in music by the greats, music being one of the arts of genius...

as we see you...in painting, and poetry....

Good morning Sy...

Ah yes, Polonaise..now fills my mind with beautiful music.
Care to sit by the fire and have tea this frosty morn?
Listen carefully, you can hear it too.
Morning hugs...and tea of course, Nancy~

I do so love that you turn those thoughts outward in rhyme so that we can share the brilliance of your mind.

It is marvellous how you are able to outwardly express your inward thoughts so poetically.

May you have many, many more pages to turn in your life's book!

Love you, Sir Sonneteer!

I greatly enjoy your sense of the meaningful side of life and how you depict it.

JM,
And how is my busy little moth today? Did you have a busy merry Xmass? It is so nice to see you answering the blue pages. I look for you all the time but see you less and less. Winkiewinkie

My hopes are the same as yours, thanks for the read and being my friend.

Alli,
That's what I like to read, thank you.
