Another shake of your head A feeling of disapointment Sinking down to the bottom of my soul The screaming never stops Its on repeat in my mind I'm shaking inside My heart beating out of my chest Fear resides far down Hidden behind my resilience Tears of anger only make them see What is becoming of me Broken promises scattered around the hillside of forgotten dreams You don't know your effect Only temporary feelings of regret The burden lays on me You jus tdo not see Words are meaningless in a struggle against a human dictionary All I want is an "I'm Sorry" I can't take much more of the fakes Want you to truly know To feel for my heart How black it feels From all your risen words Let me hear "I'm Sorry" Not an exasperated slammed door Again. You've given up. |
