Ed...I love this! Can you translate what is written in the sand, it's kind of hard to read. ![]() |

A beautiful and most picturesque thought expressed here regarding the swoop of God's arm. Thank you for sharing. -Bob |

Good thought, Martie...thanks! It's another Senryu I put there, for whatever bird left the feather I was using to scratch it in the sand. His many feathers bear him up so easily; I must fly with one. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

The Senryu in the sand is very touching to me, Ed...because I have a feather collection and I love birds. Thanks for the translation! ![]() |

It's actually a pick-up version of one I wrote some time ago..... Crow Feather Jealousy The crow, flinging scraps of voiceless sound at me, flies away heavy. Am I so jealous, throwing a rock to chase him, glad a loose quill falls? He has a thousand feathers; I must fly with only one. I wasn't gonna squat there and scribble all THAT in the sand! ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> ______________Ratleader______________ |

Oh-- and I KEPT the feather! Not a collector except for the occasional very special gift I find, but it does feel kinda nice to have it sitting in front of me as I type this. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Lovely - as is the story held within the heart of the penning - ![]() Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

The story is as good as the writing, Ed. I enjoyed both. Well done. Ken Through rubble and trouble and dark of night |

Good message both past and present. Good and comnforting Senyru. Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

It was more than worth a bit of squint to read the senyru in the picture... and squint I did... not realizing the translation came later! *G* Actually... I'm glad I didn't realize... for I could feel each letter's tracing in the sand. *S* (I read it right, by the way... *G*) This is one of the reasons I consider you a poet without peer... one work inspires another inspires another inspires another poet... and the layering gives only gain... nothing is lost. Beautiful work, my friend... I think His smile curves with this one. *S* |
