It was Christmas time again, The end of another year, Balladeer told his kids, "Soon Santa will be here." He wanted to surprise the kids, Dress up like Santa Claus, But the Santa suit wouldn't fit, It was way too small. He called his buddy LongJohn, A poet pal so dear, Asked him for a favor, To be Santa Claus this year. LongJohn said "No problem, For you I'll Ho-Ho-Ho, I'll be there on Christmas Eve, And put on quite a show." All went well when LongJohn came, Till the kids told what they saw, "Mom there's something really strange, Daddy's kissing Santa Claus!" |

All of the other poets Used to laugh and call him names Had a brief affair with Rodolph Cause he couldn't get no dames. Then one foggy Christmas eve Balladeer, his pal Said, "I'm gonna fix it up So you can get a gal." Then all the ladies loved him Screamed out, "Toerag, marry me!!" Balladeer, his faithful buddy, Got him plastic surgery!! |
