Carpeting the ground, snow sparkled around her feet. Vermilion was her garb, like a drop of blood on blotting paper. In dense woodland she lived, a wild but warm hearted beauty. Many suitors admired her, all fell under her magic. Within the walls of her abode, sweet fragrance burned, fine linen stitched by her fair hands, surrounded her. Evenings lit by starfire, constellations revolved her. Then one dark night, a feeble knock sounded on her door. The quickly flowing blizzard, blasted snow on the young gentleman stood shivering without, white as the snow. Falling into her warm bed and a deep deep dream, he let go to infinity, mindless, heedless to life. Muttering, feverishly spasaming, nightmares wore on his dreaming state. Month on month, by his bed she sat each night. Dawn rose from mist, one sparkling clear morning. Flickering, his eyes opened to the bursting buds of spring. Silently she sat beholding him, until his rising up from bed, braught her to his side. Gently she touched his tears of joy away. Down golden days of happiness, they did live and love. Wild freedom was theirs, love was their unbreakable bond. |

I am so thrilled that you don't listen to others advice and that you dedicate your heart and love before all to see here on PIP anyway!....posting poems written about me and for me. I am so happy to see that your love for me overrides anything else even if it means getting less replies...you still put your love out there for me...hey if it is written for me and about me...you want me to see and know it...I love that about you! and it is so nice to do so and have others see our love and still read and reply.... Thanks for being bold with our love....and not ashamed to do so or afraid to let others see your love for me...some people get jealous of love because they want it and don't have it, wanting to come between and destroy or breakup others who are in love...but our love is stronger than that!
