hiding inside the seams

I push the frayed edges of life’s fabric

but can’t seem to break through

some days

Monotony

is my middle name         yet I dream

of sewing myself up          to be a pillow for your head

is what I’d like

          for you to read me

your private poetry

         seamlessly mending

                                             torn pieces of me

Kacy~
I am totally entranced with this piece~

Two poets come to mind ... (at least for me) ... but you have most likely masqueraded your choice so well ... that mine are wrong ... so I'll wait for the unmasking~

I will join in saying that I REALLY like this formatting from you~

Thanks for playing Kacy!

This is a great poem, challenge not withstanding. ! Even if no one else decides to play dress up, the challenge has already been more than well met.

(I too, think it's Mr Sites)

I am sitting on my hands so I don't type in any giveaway just yet, as I'm waiting for a few more fine poets to dance on in here, and then write a challenge poem.
Thanks for the wonderfully generous feedback! It's easy to mimic fine poets when you read them daily. It's better therapy than taking meds, yanno?

OK, so I had this visual of a threesome. LOL, kinda wicked, heh, a menage a trois?

Hint: all three have previously been identified as possibles, all three are outstanding, worthy of emulation any day.

well, if ONE of them would step forward into the light.... so I can apologize for not quite getting his snapshot focused...
actually, I barely did anyone justice here, but the write came straight from my muse, who interprets things differently than I do anyway
sorry, Karen, I tried really hard but CANNOT wear your golden slippers
Capt, you tried to teach me, but I'm not your best student
and number three, well, he is still 'fairly new' to me even if he's practically kin to a couple of you

RAPH, LOL, you missed my earlier reply.
It's a composite, Capt/Karen/Bri trio. LOL it started as Bri, went towards Karen, then I tried to end it with a Capt thought.
not sure anybody got honored this way
but they'll all forgive me

hey, you came back and read it again
I tried to do you...but it needs to be in the alley LOL

Ed has done all of us a wonderful favor here, whether he realizes it or not. It's wonderful how many have joined in on this challenge, more than I've ever seen for a challenge, and still more to come.
I'll wait until next week (maybe) to attempt another one though. Thanks for the fun, everyone!
Thanks especially to the inspirational trio.
