Maybe better not to say a thing but at least an effort is made to bridge generational gap imagine not even a sign of life an extended hand is refused a handshake costs too much lack of sensation forget about eye contact turned heads grandmother shunned she only washed their dishes fine example of family unity these, the formative years so as one grows older resentment is nutured reachs full potential a hug will collapse without a return maybe its better not to say a thing coldness is misconstrued as shyness how it hurts to pick this scab this is in the immediate family where oh where are people skills maybe its better not to say a thing... |
