I know the bottom section has appeared like a lego brick into various poems. The whole came from "The Lady and The Hawk" but I have finally put all the thoughts (maybe not all - still some more lingering). Hope you like it. It seems to come together. Dave Velvet Eyes Clouds on a stormy day looked into your head and moved away Eyes black a lightning storm flowing fire without warmth Body strong instinct Eyes closed open blank Stark velvet Deep To destroy What you wouldn't keep First eyes Lips wet Tongue dry Movement dancing on singing ice Black Moving hair To mirror Trees dancing in your eyes Dress Flowing a body To cling Your motions to a Scheherazade frenzy Trees bare Birch silver coins Tossing frozen emotions To a new horizon of forgotten debts I look into your face I look into your eyes Your eyes shine to me Your lips are wet My tongue is dry I look at the black behind you The wind gently moves your hair Your eyes deep like moons The trees bow for you As you move Your dress is light It moves with your body My heart clings to my words I look into your eyes And see nothing The beach is hot The water cold We miss lunch I drink too much You watch everything The trees are bare No leaves anywhere I look for your eyes The birch is silver I shiver I look into a station I see you On vacation |

It's still not there. I can feel and touch it but I think it will have to go on the back burner. I've got about 12 poems like that, that I need to work on. regards Dave |
