Poets weaving time
in pictures
Bluebirds painting tales
in song
I never knew I'd stay
so long

A graceful dance
a spritely mixture
And silent mouths with words
so strong
Its a lush meadow
to belong

Yup, couldn't agree more.

Enjoyed

and I am haunted
by my illicit exquisite dream
but I can't really wake up
so I just drift in between

"Its a lush meadow
to belong"

That it is my friend, and we are so lucky to have the key to the gate of it.....

It is an oasis that I look forward to, almost every night, to see what the "bluebirds" have painted and watch the beautiful words "dance" across the screen...
...and I don't have to knock at the gate...Poems such as these are the flowers that carpet that meadow...

"Shall I meet other wayfarers at night?
  Those who have gone before.
Then must I knock, or call when just in sight?
They will not keep you waiting at that door."

(Christina Rossetti "Uphill")
Greatly enjoyed

Come read to me some poem,
Some simple and heartfelt lay,
That shall soothe this restless feeling
And banish the thoughts of day.
