The black rose rises Against a new born dawn A Single teardrop splashes From memories it’s drawn Tired of this waking dream The lost begin to stir More tears begin to fall As reality occurs To know that we’re not wanted To be judged by how we look Forsaken and forgotten We chose the road we took Memories adrift around A thousand of us here They want us to come back But we are nowhere near Their sorrow they slowly realize They alone have caused Were it not for all their judgment They would not become the lost Silent screams pull at our backs As we continue to walk They scream and scream But cannot be heard as we talk To speak of life’s small mysteries So early in the morn’ Soft and warm confused and sleepy Before the sun is born Life can be strange sometimes When you don’t know what to do But no matter how early the hour Friends will talk you through. One in a sea of millions has the power to change the world... |

"Life can be strange sometimes When you don’t know what to do But no matter how early the hour Friends will talk you through." Liked that ending. This poem is amazing. ~Alli~ *:.AIM = Alli4000.:* |

the lost and the forgotten - but not to each other - i understand the feelings of being outside of things - Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
