I rang the crystal dinner bell,

For you were far too busy staring
at the blonde walking by golden pond.

So I threw out the gourmet meal
that came out of the freezer box,
tossed out your stinking shoes
along with your filthy sox.

I rang the bell
but you were busy
dreaming
about a wishing well.
