You have me smiling...a great big smile, and for your info, I have read your reply, I worried about how you would take my poem, knowing that you often call me "Sir".... I am most pleased to wear that title. I do understand your feelings of it and your desire to do so. You must read my own reply to your reply... (This is getting complicated)..... Thanx Dear "Lady".... |

M’lady, Fair be thy skin, thy heart, thy soul. Fair be thy kindness ever so bold. Fair be thy wisdom, thy beauty seen. Fair be thy vision, of peace serene. Thee art a gem of sparkle and weight A “Lady” beyond the rusted iron gate. A woman born of a soul most rare. Of shimmering eyes, silken hair. And by thy own words I have read I leave the thy liberty of “Sir” as said. |

Ah, you are most kind, Sir. What a beautiful gift you give to me in return. My heart is warm. Susan Now I'm off to play with knives (or Tools as the Master calls them). Great big Martial Arts seminar this weekend. Too fun! Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

Susan, on occasion I have called Barry, "Sir," also....and when I read his poem, I felt that perhaps I had offended him. My intent was the same as yours....you penned it so well. Yes, it is that gallant heart and soul of his! (Hope your day goes well!) ....jo |

I refer to many male poets here as "Sir", usually because they have provided a poem of such depth and feeling, that any other acknowledgement would be remiss, and lack proper respect... Well done, Susan. |

Anyone that is "off to play with knives" can call me anything their little heart desires to call me....No questions asked.. |
