Some days, I find myself grounded between the cornfields and the sea, caught up in stormy waves of to-do lists that are inevitably stacked taller than me. Sometimes, even nearby snow-capped Mt. Hood isn’t high enough to match my muse's mood, the elevated free spirit that can soar above a myriad of mundane machinations known as the daily chores. Today is one of those days. Which one? I hear your question, but have no time for replies because the sparrows outside are demanding more seeds; though I have nothing to spare, they don’t seem to care. It’s all right, because it isn’t winter, and the ripened fields are bursting a bounteous bowlful. Mother Nature provides. |

Being overwhelmed with life’s experiences can be hectic, but when you look back you will smile inside at all that you accomplished. Excellent write. Enjoyed. JL She said: ”You look cute in the dark.” |

Thanks JL and Lee. I'm putting a small dent in the list today, but temps going to be 'round 105F, so the list may get shortened. |
