Butterfly kisses Caressing my wounded ego Gossamer dreams wrap gauzey promises tightly around my broken insecurities Your love; a crutch Keeping my sanity stable As I stumble with eyes wide shut into the unknown labrynth Of your thoughts I can only fall deeper As you protect me As we both lie here wide awake tucked tightly beneath a blanket of faerie dust Eyelids grow heavier As I slip into you Fate must have slipped me a sedative When you caught me off guard... If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried. |
