Where do I turn
Left here alone
Knowing now what I know?

What once was merely a breath
Has been caught on the wind
And now whispers in seductive tones.

Like the call of cascading water
Awash across stone
Swift and elusive, but still it is there

I hear the longing for answer
To discard the cover of silence
And put to voice what has been denied sound

I feel like crying out
Pleading from the rooftops
Can you not hear my soul yell?

But I am here
Left alone in the silence
Listening to its resonant roar

Perhaps too much, jo? Ah, but I am a soul that needs to be expressed. Though oft times I walk outside of my shoes, there is always a bit of ourselves in the imprints left, no? And at others, it is our hearts tread left for the reading. Thanks for your warm hearted acceptance, it means a great deal to me.

stirs the senses with vivid and tactile imaging...and silence can be an horrendous roar, but oh, so lovely, when it finally tapers to a peaceful quietness
