Washed mustard yellow fields Paled by morning's mists And our star, salmon red Warms me, melts the dew off my car As we hurtle in dawn's light To the airport To drop you off As we live your dream Heading home, I remember Grandma Who let Grandpa go to live his -I can do it too- The mists are gone now Canola is bright and smiling As we all grow and flourish Under earth's beautiful star |
